Pakistan: A home to travel destinations

Pakistan is considered as one of the most blessed countries of the world. The nature has gifted it with all types of resources and only a few of these resources have been discovered while many of them still lay hidden under its land. It has lush green planes on one side and tall snowy mountains on the other. It has desert life where even survival is difficult and on the other hand it is blessed with the Arabian Sea, full of life. This country has a mix of traditional village and posh city life. The modern cities are the historic walled city “Lahore”, mini Pakistan “Karachi” and the capital “Islamabad”.

Lahore:
The historic walled city of Lahore is the cultural center of Pakistan. The city is located at the bank of River Ravi and was called Lavapur some 2000 years ago. It is also known as “Daata ki Nagri” because the Tomb of holy saint Hazrat Daata Ganj Bakhsh is situated here. The city has been transformed in the reigns of different leaders but one thing which is still the same is the taste and aroma of its traditional foods. These foods are its identity all across the globe. The antique marvels that were constructed in Lahore by the Mughal rulers are still preserved here and these buildings are a big tourist attraction. The foreigners prefer to stay at Avari Hotel and Pearl Continental Lahore. A large number of expats prefer to find a house, apartment or villa for rent and Zameen.com offers a huge cluster of property rentals in Lahore real estate.

Karachi:

It is also the home to one of the world’s largest construction marvels “Shah Faisal mosque”. Pir Suhawa, Margala Hills and Bari Imaam are pleasant places to visit. The food at Monal Restaurant is really good and it is more pleasant to have it in open fresh air.
The city is surrounded by hills like Murree, Nathiya Gali and Bhurban which are the most favorite places of the locals for vacations in summers and winters. Murree is known as “The Queen of Mountains” and it remains covered with snow almost throughout the year. The most favorite place for accommodation in the hill station is Pearl Continental Bhurban.
